The technology
This chair uses the acupressure method called Tsubo, based on measured pressure on specific points all along the spine. This is the traditional Shiatsu massage technique.

Optima provides very localized massage and works on all of the important parts of the back. You can use three different Shiatsu massage methods: rolling, tapping and kneading.
You can also add a leg massage which will stimulate all of the body’s functions.
Select the type of massage
1. Rollers
The massage rollers move up and down and on either side of the spine in a regular motion, following the shape of the body.
2. Kneading
Combined with action 1 above, the rollers apply pressure from outside to inside, actually "kneading" the back.
3. Tapping
Rollers complement movement 1 by tapping the back the way a massage expert uses the blades of their hands. This relaxes the back muscles even more.
